Walking With God through the Bible

8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking about in the garden.

2.      Genesis 5:24 (MSG)
24 Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.

3.      Genesis 6:9 (NLT)
9  Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.

4.      Genesis 17:1 (KJV)
1 And when Abram was 99 years old, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

5.      Leviticus 26:12 (NLT)
12 I will walk among you; I will be your God, and you will be my people.

6.      Deuteronomy 5:33 (NASB)
33 "You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.

7.      Psalm 23:4 (NLT)
4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

8.      Psalm 40:2 (NLT)
2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.

9.      Psalm 55:14 (NLT)
14 What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God.

10. Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)
31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

11. Amos 3:3 (NLT)
3 Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?

12.  Micah 6:8 (NLT)
8 No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

13. Matthew 9:9 (NLT)
9 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Matthew got up and followed him.

14.  John 12:35 (NLT)
35 Jesus replied, My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

15. Ephesians 2:10 (NASB77)
10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.  1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, entreat you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.  Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, …”

16. 1 John 2:11 (NLT)
11 But anyone who hates another brother or sister is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.
